Your use of and purchase of products from this site are governed by the terms and conditions set out below, and as set out under Copyright, and delivery. We recommend you also read our Privacy policy.
We may at any time make changes to this site and the details displayed on it (including prices).

Terms and conditions of use

1. Prices and Payment

The prices for goods displayed for sale on this site are as set out on the site, are Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd`s prices and are exclusive of VAT. Delivery is also exclusive (for orders under Ł350.00) and for area`s that can be delivered to via the chosen carriers standard service.Deliveries on premium and surcharged area's will be charged at their normal rate that can be seen at www.tradepriced.co.uk/delivery.html.Prices and delivery charges displayed are valid and effective only in the United Kingdom and exclude all offshore locations.

Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd cannot accept your order until you have paid for it in full (including applicable delivery charges). Upon payment, we will confirm acceptance of your order by e-mail which will be sent to the e-mail address you provide on your order details. Whether or not you receive the e-mail, our acceptance of your order will create a legally binding contract between us. We reserve the right not to supply you at our discretion.

Credit and Debit Card Payments
All card payments are processed by Protx and Steamline.You pay them upto a 5% fee, which is included in the total advertised price,the balance is paid to Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd. The total amount you pay is the same, regardless of the payment method.

2. Your right to cancel your order

You may cancel your order at any stage before the goods are delivered to you.
Before despatch:
Please e-mail us or call us on 0845 644 0623,we will refund your order value in full unless the item is a special order or made to your specification,in which case we will refund you 50% of the order value.
After despatch:
We will ask the carriers to return the items to us.Once received we will refund your card less the original delivery charge and the return delivery charge less a further 20% handling charge.
Once delivered:
If within 7 days you wish us to collect your items,the items will be collected at the following rate
Ł30.00 plus Ł0.25p per kilo of the returned goods weight.
You can return the items at your own expense.

All carriage charges will be deducted from the refund due to you.

If you wish to cancel your order you can either phone us on 0845 644 0623(lines are open 9am - 5pm weekdays) or email us.

In some cases we may be unable to prevent your order from being despatched to you. In this case we will arrange for your order to be collected at your convenience (see our returns and refunds policy).

3. Our returns and refunds policy

If you are not satisfied with the order you have received from us you may return it to us within 7 days of delivery . We will exchange or refund any unused items returned to us, as sold in their original condition.
Please note that if we arrange the return of non faulty goods to ourselves,then the cost price of the return carriage will be deducted from the refund due to you and less a 20% handling charge.
The minimum charge is Ł30.00 plus vat for returns of over orders.

4. Delivery

Our deliveries are made 98.2% on time.
Whilst ever effort is made to ensure your delivery arrives with you in the specified time scale,we are aware that under certain conditions and in circumstances that are outside our control,late deliveries sometimes do occur.We are unable to accept any claim for late deliveries however it has occurred.

Exchange and Refunds
If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery we will exchange the product or issue a full refund to you including delivery and collection charges.

Refunds will be paid within 14 days of receipt of the returned order.

How To return items:
Call our Customer Services team on 0845 644 0623. They will arrange for the collection of the unwanted goods.
Calls are charged at local rate.

We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd.

Please ensure that you have received and checked your order in full before booking any fitters and contractors as we will not be held responsible for fitting or call out charges.

If any part of these terms and conditions is found to be unenforceable as a matter of law, all other parts of these terms and conditions shall not be affected and shall remain in force.

All sizes quoted are approximate.

In connection with building work Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd cannot advise on building regulation issues.

These terms and conditions and any contract between us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the English Courts shall have jurisdiction over any disputes between us.

In these terms and conditions:-

"Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd" means, Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd and any other connected organisation that supplies the goods ordered by you and any successor to its business;

"We and Us" means Carpets Direct (GB) Ltd either alone or together with you, as the context requires;

"Working day" means every day of the year except weekends, and English statutory and public holidays;

"You" means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions;
Privacy
We only use your details to process and deliver your order.We do not sell or use your details in any other way,we do not send random marketing emails or sell or use your email address (called spam)for any other purpose but to process your order.We conform to the Data Protection Act of 1988.
